ANIMATION

Project 4 - Draw

This project is the standard cell type animation everyone is familiar with. Remember the Sunday morning cartoons? Well this is the style those are made in. Each image is a separate image which is replaced after each shot.

Project 4 - Draw

For my project I made a short cartoon in a similar style to Don Hertzfelt. The story is a little guy that is dodging falling flower pots, and well just watch it to find out.

Project 3 - Cut

This project is to animate pieces of paper by moving them around on the animation stand. The camera must remain in one position the entire time and only the paper will move.

Project 3 - Cut

For my animation I suppose you can call it an abstract piece, or maybe just weird. So I admit it is kinda random but its a fun little animation.

Project 2 - Paint

This project purpose is to use paint, or a paint like substance to animate. Each still that composes the animation will be created by changing the image before. Paint can be added, changed, or removed to create movement.

Project 2 - Paint

The animation I made for this project I like to call Rochester in the Winter. The outline was created using white colored pencil on black construction paper. The paint I used was crushed up powdered laundry soap. Moving the soap around over the image created the winterly scene.

Project 1 - Move

The purpose of this project is to create an animation using camera movements on the Acme animation stand. Only the camera can be moved and must incorporate zooms, rotation, and normal positional movements.

Project 1 - Move

This animation is of a Where's Waldo scene. The animation takes you inside the scene as you hunt for Waldo himself.
