MULTIMEDIA
Macromedia Director
This software package is a self contained development environment for multimedia applications. Director applications can be found as web games, multimedia CDs companies and colleges hand out, or a plethora of other uses. For a long time Macromedia Lingo was the language of choice when it came to Director. It could do everything from 2D image blitting to 3D rendering. This was the first language I learned in director. When 2004 came around the big wigs at Macromedia decided to switch to Javascript. After stumbling around with it for a few hours I soon had converted all my skills to Javascript as well. This section will have projects created in both languages in Director.
Maya
Alias Wavefront's Maya is one of the most widely used 3D modeling and animation packages in use today. I took a 3D modeling class at RIT to get some basic skills in 3D modeling before I moved on to 3D graphics programming. This section is where I keep all my work from modeling class as well as assets I created for our groups 3D game.
Animation
This section contains all my work from the Introduction to Animation class I took at RIT. This class is a prerequisite class to the 3D computer animation classes I am interested in. This class provided me with many useful techniques to apply when animating. All my animations were done the traditional way, with an Acme animation stand.
